FxPro Financial Services Ltd (FxPro), a Cyprus based company and leading global retail broker in Forex and CFDs, has announced it will become Aston Villa Football Club’s Principal Commercial Partner from July 2010 in a three-year deal. As part of the agreement, FxPro will appear on the Club’s new shirt, to be unveiled July 15th in Birmingham.

Speaking from FxPro Head Quarters in Limassol, Director Denis Sukhotin, is enthusiastic about the new partnership. “Aston Villa is one of the great names of the English Premier League, with a loyal following that stretches far beyond the UK. FxPro is proud to partner with the club, as it continues to compete at the very top of the greatest domestic football league in the world.”

Jim Manczak, Head of Strategic Relations for FxPro, added,

FxPro’s growing relationship with international sport reflects our innovative approach to global branding and sharing of common interests and language with clients around the world.”
“We are extremely excited to enter into this new partnership with FxPro,” said Paul Faulkner, Chief Executive of Aston Villa Football Club. “It reflects our continued growth as a Club, after a season in which we finished sixth in the Premier League for the third straight year while twice reaching Wembley - competing in the Carling Cup final and FA Cup semi-final.”

The groundbreaking association between Aston Villa and Acorns - the largest provider of hospice care for life-limited children in the UK - will remain, with Acorns becoming the Club’s Official Charity and FxPro making a strong commitment to supporting the charity in joint endeavours.
